E5 Section Conference

Calling all brothers,

For the first time in over 7 years, our lodge will be hosting an OA Section Conference from April 12-14th!  Join hundreds of Arrowmen from across the section for our yearly weekend of fellowship at Sand Hill Scout Reservation. Some notable activities at Section conference include The Quest for the Golden Arrow, Section trainings, and the Section business meeting. The Quest for the Golden Arrow is a tournament of Lodge vs. Lodge games that test skill, teamwork, and knowledge; Section trainings allow you to stay up-to-date in the section and hone leadership techniques; the Section business meeting includes the election of our next Section Chief, Vice Chief, and Secretary. Spring Fellowship

In less than two weeks our lodge will be hosting Spring Fellowship at Sand Hill Scout Reservation from March 1st to 3rd. There will be no Ordeal or Brotherhood process this weekend as we will be focused on games, trainings, and lodge business.
Friday night we will recognize the lodge members that have been chosen to receive the Vigil Honor. On Saturday, the chapters will compete in the Quest for the Golden Hoof, a tournament of sports, trivia, and competitions. Later Saturday we will be holding our yearly lodge business meeting and elections. All youth members are eligible to vote for Lodge Chief, Vice Chief of Operations, Vice Chief of Membership, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian from amongst the pool of candidates. After the lodge elections, we will also have chapter elections for the year. Saturday evening we will have the lodge banquet, this is an event to recognize the service provided by all members throughout the year as well as welcoming in the new LEB.

Winter Conclave

In less than a month our lodge will be kicking off the new year with an ice themed winter conclave. Come join your fellow arrowmen for a weekend of service and fellowship at Camp Soule, January 5-9.Camp Soule - Greater Tampa Bay Area Council

We will be helping to maintain and build up Camp Soule through our service projects and ordeal. Members can look forward to fun and games throughout the afternoon and into the evening. We will also be holding a committee fair and offering a brotherhood trail.

WACO Weekend

The Withlacoochee, Abiaca, Calusa and Osceola chapters will be hosting a joint conclave at Camp Soule December 1-3. Join us for an ordeal and brotherhood weekend with chapter vs chapter fellowship. This Chapter Weekends will continue the Elemental Bulls patch set with an earth theme.

Netopalis Tachquiwi Chapter Conclave

The Netopalis Tachquiwi Chapter will host its annual conclave on November 17-19 at Camp Owen J. Brorein. Join us for an ordeal weekend featuring chapter fellowship and service. All Chapter Weekends will continue the Elemental Bulls patch set with an earth theme.

Fall Conclave

Don’t miss out! In just over a week, Uh-To-Yeh-Hut-Tee Lodge will be hosting our 2023 Fall Conclave at Sandhill Scout Reservation. It will happen on the weekend of October 6th-8th, and it is primed to be our biggest inductions weekend of the Lodge Year. Be sure to register by this Sunday, October 1st, to avoid the $10 late fee.

Service projects to help maintain Camp Sandhill will happen on Saturday, and the Elemental Bulls will continue with a water theme. Activities and food will be centered around this, including a pool party that will occur on Saturday night. Our attendance goal is 200 members and candidates, and if reached, arrowmen will have the opportunity to soak the Lodge Chief with water balloons, so make sure to invite your friends.

Section Leadership Summit Registration!

Register today for Section Leadership Summit in order to be guaranteed a host t-shirt! Our lodge will place the order today, and although we will attempt to have extras available for people who register later, a t-shirt will no longer be guaranteed. If you decide to register closer to the event, be advised that registration will only be open until October 28th.

Registration is now open at this link, or at www.uhtoyehhuttee.org. Members from our lodge will receive the event patch, host patch, and the host T-Shirt, all included in the price of registration. Please be sure that you register as a member of Uh-To-Yeh-Hut-Tee Lodge so you receive all of the host merchandise as a member of the Host Lodge.

If you sign up to attend, you can either let us know ahead of time what area you would like to help with, or we can give you jobs as needed at the event. We will need help in all of the following areas:

  • Mountain Man Activities
  • Campsite Hosts
  • Friday Night Glow Party
  • Saturday Night Campfire Show
  • Food Service
  • Lodge Grill
  • General Logistics
  • Registration

Post-Hurricane Updates

I hope everyone and their families is alright in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Thankfully, none of our facilities have been severely impacted, and we will still be having Fall Conclave. In light of the hurricane, we have decided to extend the deadline for on-time registration to Tuesday. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you who can make it there, and once again, hope that you and everyone around you is safe.

Winter Conclave Recap

Winter Conclave was Amazing! We had 177 people show up out of over 200 registered! We had 50 brothers complete their ordeal and 9 seal their membership with the brotherhood. Lodge members participated in a horse race, lassoing, and panning for gold and we watched the movie Rango.  Everyone had an wonderfull time and we can’t wait to see you at the next event. Fall Conclave was fantastic! We had 150 people show up out of 180 registered! We had 50 brothers complete their ordeal and 21 seal their membership with the brotherhood. Lodge members participated in jousting and chess and we watched the movie Shrek 3.  Everyone had an great time and we can’t wait to see you at the next event.
